You can choose from a multitude of lifestyle categories: Dates, Nature, Nights Out, Getaways, or just scroll on the All section. You can also browse through the app’s vault of hundreds of Nudges in your city and save the ones that interest you.

Main Features

The Nudge app is not just a list of recommendations. It’s a complete guide that tells you everything you need to know to have a great time. Each Nudge includes a video that shows you what to expect, a description that gives you the details, and a map that shows you how to get there. You can also share your Nudges with your friends and invite them to join you.

Some of the main features of The Nudge app are:

• Personalized Nudges - These are Nudges sent to you through text messages detailing videos from locals of their favorite things to do. These nudges are personalized based on preferences and location.

• Video Guides/Map- Nudges contain short-form videos that show you what to expect on your outing along with maps that show you how to get to each Nudge.

• Pro Tips - Nudges contain some cool tips regarding the event such a nice place to check out adjacent to the location, rules, and things to look for.

• Friends - The Nudge app invites you to see what Nudges your friends are checking out and allows you to share Nudges amongst each other.

• Nudge Planner - This is an exclusive program as part of the Nudge app where you can apply to be a Nudge planner and curate cool experiences for people.

My Experience

I honestly love the Nudge app! I live in Los Angeles at the moment and while LA is a massive city with plenty of things to do, it can be hard to find unique experiences once you’ve exhausted most of the popular stuff. However, after downloading the Nudge app, I’ve found countless things to do that I had no idea about.

For example, I found a Nudge for an awesome cannabis lounge located in West Hollywood. It showed me all the information I needed to know, including whether reservations were needed, how to find it, and the hours they were open. The video guide is especially nice because you get to immediately see what experiencing the place or event will be like. It also feels far more personal because a Nudger is describing the attraction and giving you information on it.

The text message feature is fantastic because it feels so personable and it provides you a link to the Nudge on the app. The two Nudges through text arrive on Monday and Wednesday, so I already have a plan for the weekend when it arrives.
